Peter Bainbridge was born in 1964 and is self-taught wildlife artist. Peter has exhibited widely in the UK, Europe and The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation at the Mall Gallery in London. Peter has sold many paintings at galleries throughout the UK and prestigious auctioneers such as Christie’s and Sotheby’s. In 2005 Peter won the Birdwatcher Magazine, Bird Artist of The Year competition.
Peter has also exhibited at the Cheltenham Festival as well as several other racecourses around the country. He was invited to the prestigious Coolmore Stud in Ireland and has paintings in their collection. Peter works closely with the Moore family at Gary Moore’s Cisswood racing stable in Sussex and is an Associate Member of The Society of Equestrian Artists.
Peter now paints both Wildlife and Equine subjects and travels widely around the UK gaining inspiration for his works.
