Michael Wright original watercolour – A Ferrari 166 racing the Aosta-Gran San Bernardo hill climb in 1948.

A prestigious International speed hill climb race in the Italian Alps between 1920 -1957. The race covered a distance of 21 miles from the town of Aosta to the summit of the Great St Bernard Pass on the Swiss border.

Michael Wright is a British artist born in 1935. He specializes in watercolour paintings that depict classic and collector’s automobiles, vintage motor racing scenes, and related automotive subjects. 

His works often capture historical motorsport events, such as the Monaco Grand Prix, the Mille Miglia and Alpine tours featuring Rolls-Royce vs Bentley. 

Michael’s art captures classic racing cars which have great appeal to enthusiasts of vintage automobiles and motorsport history.
